Prayer and Work

The sight of this graceful swirl of snow on the window  made it a little easier to get out there and head to work yesterday morning. It’ s good, sometimes, to let God take your breath away.

As long as winter is still with us in a big way, I may as well blog about it; really, it calls for a response. The other day, observing the beauty of snow on pine boughs, I thought, this year we are getting to live and to savor and to soak in sights and smells and sounds that we usually only see anymore in Christmas cards. It’s like living in a Christmas card and a reminder to keep that Love, that Word, that Light, strong and bright.
